About Me

I am a CPA and a CGMA. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington, I began my career with Deloitte, and after several years in public accounting, I moved into the healthcare field. After a period with Cook Children’s Health Care System, I began a swift ascent through the ranks of finance operations to senior vice president at US Oncology and McKesson.

Upon leaving McKesson, I obtained licenses to provide investment advice and sell securities, and I began a new practice focus as a financial advisor with Averett Financial, LLC. In May of 2018, I joined CliftonLarsonAllen as a Partner where I led their outsourced accounting department. I returned to Averett Financial, LLC in December 2020, where I led the Accounting Services Division and served as the Managing Partner. In late 2022, we dissolved Averett Financial, and I branched out on my own as Testa CPA LLC providing bookkeeping and fractional controller and CFO services.

I serve on multiple non-profit boards. I am a group leader in Bible Study Fellowship, and my husband Frank and I attend Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, our home community.

I am a business owner myself and I love helping other business owners find creative ways to build their business and save on taxes to improve their cash flow and profits, so I never have to hear “I’m not paying myself yet” again!!
